Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, was among global dignitaries who gathered at the White House in Washington, DC, on Wednesday for the “Fostering the Future Together Summit” hosted by Melania Trump
The event brought together 45 first ladies, including Brigitte Macron, with discussions centered on improving access to education and protecting children in an increasingly digital world.
A major highlight of the summit was the unveiling of an American-made humanoid system, Figure 3, introduced by Melania Trump. The presentation marked the first time such advanced technology has been showcased to international leaders in a formal diplomatic setting at the White House.
“The future of AI is personified – it will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility,” she said.
“This technology may reset the modern world order and rebalance power. Your children must be prepared to ascend within this framework.
“Our coalition can make this vision real by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with the skills they need – invest, expand access, and foster new opportunity.”
Representatives from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, also shared their national strategies for integrating technology into their education systems.
