Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar politician, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde Congress (ADC) led by David Mark Democratic Party (PDP) under Tanimu Turaki, held a high-profile closed-door meeting focused on political strategy and key national developments.

The meeting is taking place at Mark’s residence in Apo, Abuja, with top opposition figures present, including PDP factional National Chairman Turaki, former Minister of Justice [“people”,”Abubakar Malami”,”former Nigerian Attorney General”], former governors Amaechi”,”Rivers State”], Kwankwaso”,”Kano State”], Aminu Tambuwal Anambra State Governor Peter Obi Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi and PDP National Publicity Secretary Ini Ememobong.

Sources from both the ADC and PDP factions, speaking on condition of anonymity, disclosed that the meeting aims to explore ways for opposition leaders to coordinate efforts against President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 elections.

Additionally, the discussions are expected to address internal crises within both parties, review key national issues, and develop strategic plans for the future. Both the factional PDP and ADC are currently navigating leadership disputes, including rival factions and ongoing court battles.
