Nollywood actor Mofe Duncan is taking a deeply personal step as he prepares for his father’s funeral next week and it’s coming with a bit of humor and emotion.
In a video he shared, the Nollywood actor is seen getting a hands-on lesson from his older sister on how to properly tie the traditional Itsekiri Gorge. The process, however, didn’t come easy for him. Mofe playfully complained about how long and complicated the fabric is, wondering aloud why it has to be that way.
Despite the lighthearted struggle, the moment carries a deeper meaning. For him, it’s more than just learning an outfit it’s part of honoring his late father in a culturally significant way. He described it as a “wholesome” experience and a final tribute, calling it “one last dance with Daddy.”
