R&B artist D4vd, currently charged with murder in connection with the k!lling and dismemberment of a 14-year-old girl whose remains were discovered decomposing in his vehicle, was found to have child pornography on his cellphone, according to a U.S. prosecutor on Thursday
The 21-year-old, whose real name is David Burke, could face the death penalty for the slaying of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Prosecutors allege he k!lled the teenager, dismembered her body, placed the parts in bags, and left them to decay inside the front trunk of his Tesla in the Hollywood Hills area.

The victim was reportedly involved in a se.xual relationship with the rising musician.Investigators believe Burke carried out the killing on April 23 of last year to safeguard his growing fame after the girl allegedly threatened to reveal their involvement. Her severely decomposed body was discovered in the car at a tow yard in September, just days before what would have been her 15th birthday.
During a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles, prosecutor Beth Silverman stated that an examination of Burke’s iPhone uncovered “a significant amount of child pornography.”She did not provide specifics about the material or confirm whether it included images of the deceased girl.
The case has attracted widespread global attention, with observers pointing out eerie similarities to Burke’s music, particularly his breakthrough track “Romantic Homicide.”Online investigators have also shared findings such as joint appearances by the pair on streaming services, along with matching “Shhh” finger tattoos.
