A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Chidiebere Justice Mark aka Justice Crack, in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) after he was arraigned over an alleged false claim about the Nigerian military
Mark is facing a three-count charge filed by the DSS for a viral video he posted on his X handle, “Justice Crack,” where he alleged that military personnel are poorly fed.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges when they were read in court.
Following his plea, the prosecuting counsel, Emmanuel Orubo, requested a date for the commencement of trial and asked that the defendant be remanded in DSS custody.
Defence counsel, Marshall Abubakar, made an oral application for bail, but the court declined to consider it, directing him instead to file a formal bail application.
In her ruling, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik ordered that the defendant be remanded in DSS custody and adjourned the case until May 25, 2026, for the start of trial and possible hearing of the bail application.
