Jaywon has reacted to the ongoing controversy involving former BBNaija winner Ilebaye and her father, following the voice note released by him, explaining his side of the incident

Responding to some of the claims made in the narration, Jaywon questioned the criticism directed at Ilebaye over alleged hard drug use after she was allowed to participate in Big Brother Naija.
According to him, anyone who permits their child to enter the reality show should not be surprised by the lifestyle and exposure associated with it.
He wrote: “Papa wey fit send PIKIN go big brother house dey complain say she dey take hard drugs. Dem tell you say na Bible studies dem dey go there go learn or is there anything positive for a girl child in BBN house ??”
The singer also condemned the level of physical injury allegedly inflicted on Ilebaye, arguing that no form of discipline justifies such treatment.
He added: “How can you hurt someone to the point her body face look like that and still call it discipline? Even people caught stealing on the street are not treated that way. The scary part is seeing people defend this kind of evil.”
