Sheree Zampino, the ex-wife of Will Smith, has filed a lawsuit against Bilaal Salaam, accusing him of making damaging and false claims about her during a recent interview appearance.
Accordingto reports, Zampino believes Salaam shifted his focus toward her after previously speaking publicly about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. She alleges he made highly offensive remarks during an episode of Tasha K’s “Unwine with Tasha K” series.
The complaint also refers to a promotional clip shared online ahead of the interview. It included the statement;
“Exclusive: Bilaal claims Will Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino was sleeping with everyone in Hollywood!”.
Zampino claims that similar comments were repeated during the full interview, including repeated insults directed at her.
She argues the statements are untrue and have damaged her reputation, causing emotional distress and public embarrassment.
The lawsuit accuses Salaam of slander and intentional emotional harm, and seeks more than $1 million in compensatory damages, along with punitive damages and legal fees.
