BBNaija star, Phyna has cried out over what she described as a disturbing encounter involving operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, alleging that her cameraman was k!dnapped and her personal belongings were seized during the incident
In a video shared on her Snapchat, the BBNaija star appeared visibly distressed as she narrated how the situation unfolded, insisting that the officers did not properly identify themselves or explain their actions.
According to her, the officers intercepted them, took her cameraman away, and confiscated a bag containing her laptop and camera equipment without informing them of any offence or destination.
Phyna alleged that when she demanded answers about her belongings, one of the officers accused her of being a dr#g dealer.
She said:
“What is inside my bag? What is inside my bag? No name, no…”
Police officer: “You are a dr#g dealer.”
Phyna responded angrily, insisting she was never informed of any wrongdoing.
“You carried my bag. No name, I’m a dr#g dealer? My laptop bag… you didn’t introduce yourself, you carried my cameraman… now he’s been kidnapped,” she said.
She further alleged that the officers did not identify themselves properly, had no visible name tags or plate numbers, and failed to disclose where they were taking her cameraman and equipment.
Phyna insisted the incident felt like an a.bduction carried out by men in police uniform, expressing fear over the whereabouts of her team member and seized items.
