Nollywood veteran actor Jide Kosoko has marked a deeply emotional milestone, remembering his late wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, ten years after her passing.
Taking to a reflective tone, the actor paid tribute to her love, warmth, and the role she played in holding the family together before her death a decade ago.
Henrietta, who was also a familiar face in the Nigerian film industry, passed away in 2016, leaving behind memories that continue to linger with family, colleagues, and fans.
In his remembrance message, Kosoko expressed how much she is still missed and how her presence is felt through their children, who he says are doing well in life. He also offered prayers for her peaceful rest, describing her enduring impact on the family.
He wrote:
“Today marks 10 years since my beloved wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, returned to her Creators. She was love, grace, and strength to our children and me. Her children are doing great, and I know she’s smiling from above. May God grant her Peace yonder. We miss you, Rita Omo Odudukudu. Continue to rest in peace, Iya Ibeji.”
Henrietta Kosoko’s passing in 2016 was widely mourned across Nollywood, where she was respected for her roles and contributions to the industry. Over the years, her memory has remained alive through tributes from loved ones and occasional reflections from her husband.
As the 10-year remembrance comes around, the message once again shows the lasting bond and the emotional void her absence left behind.
