Veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has come out in defense of Judy Austin, urging Nigerians to let go of the anger and criticism that have continued to trail the actress’s marriage to Yul Edochie.
In a lengthy post, Shan George said she has never met or spoken with Judy Austin before, but felt compelled to speak up because of what she described as the persistent hatred directed at Judy and Yul years after their relationship became public.
She wrote:
“Do u Believe that GOD IS IN CONTROL? Do u hv Children? Do u kno tomorrow? Do u think u r wiser than GOD? Pls Ask urself these questions and deeply reason it.
First off, I’ve never met or spoken to Judy ever before in my life, so don’t get this twisted.( feel free to abuse me, na so dem been abuse and Kpai Jesus for preaching forgiveness and no Hate.)”.
The actress went on to question why some people are still criticizing the couple despite the passage of time and the growth of their family.
“If u r still at this point in time still dragging YUL & JUDY, after all these years, and 3 kids down. It means u r Playing God, or u hv another secret evul Agenda,
Bcos that particular kind of Hate is what Jesus Christ spent years and died preaching about. If u r still hating, being unforgiving, and u r still entering church. U hv no FEAR OF GOD. Read ur Bible.”
Shan George also asked people to focus on their own lives rather than holding on to resentment over decisions made by others that their marriage is ordained by God.
“Don’t use ur own hands to block ur own Blessings, d only one who should throw stones, which is JESUS, He Never Did.
R U Sinless? Why is ur Soul so HATEFUL?
Na God Dey Plot The Graph Of Life. He Has His Ways And Only He Knows Why.”
According to the actress, dwelling on the situation will not change what has already happened, adding that forgiveness remains the better path.
“Ur own hate for another person, can stop ur blessings, this is why u cannever catch me hating anyone. If Judy Kpai now, ur life’s problems will still be there. Nobi she dey do anyone. What has happened, has already happened. Leave d Rest To God.
Everyone should leave it to GOD and MOVE ON. God Bless u. 🙏❤”.
Judy Austin and Yul Edochie’s relationship has remained one of the most discussed celebrity unions in Nigeria since it became public. The marriage attracted widespread attention because Yul was still married to his now ex-wife, May Edochie, when news of his relationship with Judy emerged.
