Uche Maduagwu has criticized actress Angela Okorie over claims she burnt the outfit she wore to the burial of late actor Alexx Ekubo, describing her comments as unnecessary and poorly handled
Angela had earlier explained that she burnt the dress after attending the burial based on advice from her godmother, who believed such clothing should not be kept.
Her statement, however, drew a strong response from Uche, who did not agree with how she addressed the matter.
In his reaction, he said:
“Angela Okorie, you need to pray for spiritual maturity. Instead of you to apologize to Nigerians for saying you burned the clothes you wore to Alex Ekubo’s burial, you are busy giving unnecessary laughable explanations. Why you no burn the wig wey you wear go there? This is wrong, there is time for everything dear, I’ll keep praying for you to grow up spiritually.”
