The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned Nigerians to remain vigilant while travelling on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, warning that the road could witness a security incident between July and August.
According to the cleric, he does not know the exact date the incident could occur, but believes it may happen at some point within that period. He urged the relevant security agencies to strengthen surveillance and take proactive measures to prevent any potential attack.
Ayodele stressed that his warning should not be dismissed, saying it is intended to encourage preventive action rather than create fear among members of the public.
“Bandïts will block the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway between July and August. I don’t know the exact date, but it will happen within that period”,he said.
The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is one of Nigeria’s busiest highways, serving as a major link between Lagos and several states in the southwest, making security along the route an important concern for thousands of daily commuters.
