Zlatan Ibile corrected a master of ceremonies during an event at his alma mater, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), after the MC attempted to link the gathering to the “City Boy” movement associated with President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign
In a video that has since gone viral, Zlatan quickly distanced the occasion from politics, stressing that the event was solely about celebrating his former school.

The rapper, who graduated from MAPOLY, firmly interrupted the MC before making his stance clear.
“No Be City Boy Movement We Dey Do Here. Na MAPOLY we dey do here,” he said.
His response drew loud cheers from the crowd, with many applauding his insistence on keeping the event focused on his alma mater rather than politics.
Presenter: “This award is on behalf of the City Boy Movement.”
Zlatan wasted no time collecting the mic: “No be City Boy movement we come do for here.” 😂👏🏽 pic.twitter.com/iUvEDfSkGt
