VeryDarkMan has advised Sunday Igboho that every security operation carried out by his team should be properly documented, saying it is not enough to only speak about gun battles after they happen without presenting evidence of what transpired
Referring to a video he said he watched, VDM claimed it showed some men linked to Igboho a.ssaulting individuals from northern Nigeria after accusing them of being b.andits.
While acknowledging the need to confront insecurity, he warned that acting without proper investigation could create new problems instead of solving the existing ones.
He advised Igboho’s team to carry body cameras or go on operations with a cameraman so there would be a clear record of events from start to finish.
According to him, “Sunday Igboho, you and your boys have to be really careful while doing this job because in the quest of solving a problem you can end up generating another problem that may likely be bigger than the problem on ground.”
He added, “Do your proper investigation and do your due diligence, I will also advise your team to get body camera or go in with a camera man. You can’t just come out always to say you were in a gvn battle and then you want us to take it as it is.”
