Actress Blessing Obasi Nze has shared some of the painful experiences she went through after marrying actor Stan Nze, saying she was constantly criticised over her appearance and their relationship.
Speaking in a recent interview, she said one of the toughest moments came on their first wedding anniversary when people began making fun of her teeth.
“I was dragged on my 1st wedding anniversary because of my teeth. Trolls told me to stop laughing publicly because of my dentition”, she said.
She said the comments didn’t stop there. When her husband posted her photo for the first time, she said many people focused on her looks and even questioned whether their marriage was real.
“When my husband posted my picture for the first time, people said I was 10 years older than him. They also said it was a movie because they didn’t believe he would actually marry me”, she stated.
Blessing also spoke about another experience involving her husband, saying one of his interviews was misrepresented after it made its way online.
“My husband granted an interview one time, and his words were twisted on social media”, she said.
