TikToker Don Pedro has publicly apologised after a video involving a soldier begging led to the serviceman’s arrest
It began when a man dressed in uniform said, “I’ve not eaten,” while asking the content creator for money.
The video resulted in disciplinary action against the soldier.
Reacting to the incident, Don Pedro expressed regret over how events unfolded and appealed to the military authorities for forgiveness.
“My fellow Nigerians, please forgive me. Sincerely speaking, I didn’t know this video would turn out this way. Of course, people know how I feature Nigerian personnel on my platform. I sincerely apologize to the Nigerian military. Please forgive me, and I also appeal on behalf of the arrested soldier,” he said.
