A mum who drowned her “miracle” IVF twins on Boxing Day after her husband left her has been jailed for 10 years.
Samantha Ford killed her 23-month-old toddlers Jake and Chloe in the bath and then tried to die by suicide when she crashed her car into the back of a lorry at 100mph, later telling police: “I’ve killed my babies. Please let me die.”
Her lawyer claims she was suffering from “a catastrophic level” of acute depression “leading her to believe that she and the children needed to die”.
But prosecution psychiatrists believe she may have been exaggerating her illness, claiming she killed her twins in a fit of “narcissistic rage”, had a “homicide/suicide fantasy” and carried it out in an act of “retaliation and punishment” against her estranged husband Steven.
Ford, 38, admitted manslaughter by diminished responsibility but denied murdering the twins at her home near Margate, Kent.
And she was today locked up for 10 years.

What these entitled infertile women, and pathetic weak-chinned men who enable them, need to accept is that it’s not society’s responsibility to ensure that they have kids. They are not owed a family of their own, nor are they entitled to assistance from the government, which faces much more pressing issues.
Infertility is simply nature’s way of culling inferior genetic lineages and ensuring that defective cluster B traits aren’t propagated, leading to a fitter species. IVF is the reproductive version of affirmative action; a participation trophy for the nature’s losers. It caters to self-absorbed genetic duds with over-inflated egos who feel that they’re being denied something that they “deserve”. It has allowed an untold number of genetic disasters to slip through the net, as it were.
They could just quietly accept this reality with dignity, but instead they choose to fester in their toxic sense of entitlement and pity. No-one should feel sorry for them.
Like any dangerous animal that’s currently being held in captivity, this specimen should be spayed before it’s released back into the wild. It should be banned from further IVF and blacklisted against any sort of experimental procedures such as uterus transplants or cloning.
It’s probably for the best, both for society and the gene pool, that these murderous womens’ cursed bloodlines end with them. They are quite clearly a danger to any children that they may have. They will be left to have a meltdown over there own extinction, and the world will not shed a single tear for them.
