The Nigerian Government today, Thursday, 15th of August, changed the name of its twitter handle. The name was changed from @AsoRock to @NigeriaGov. Disclosing the reason for this, the Government tweeted;
“NOTIFICATION: Twitter Handle Change | From @AsoRock to @NigeriaGov, to more accurately reflect the fact that this handle represents, and exists on behalf of, the Federal Government of Nigeria.”
