Xavi Hernández has officially been appointed as the new head coach of the Netherlands national team
The Dutch Football Federation has completed an agreement with the former Barcelona manager, with the Spanish coach signing the necessary documents to formalise his appointment.
Xavi’s move to the Netherlands marks his return to management after his spell in charge of Barcelona and represents his first major role with a national team.
The former midfielder has now taken on the task of leading the Dutch side, working with a squad featuring players from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Xavi will be expected to guide the Netherlands back among the leading teams in international football as he begins this new chapter of his coaching career.
