Music executive Dapper has finally responded to the growing allegations from some of his former artistes, including Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi, T.I Blaze
The dispute has played out largely on social media, with former artistes raising questions about money and their past dealings with Dapper.
Dapper has now broken his silence, saying the records connected to the allegations are available and have already been submitted to the relevant authorities.
Taking to his page, he wrote:
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.
“Don’t online and spill r^bbish narratives & lies only to mislead the public!” he wrote.
He also responded to the criticism from the former artistes, saying they chose to leave his label and that no one forced them out.
“You chose to leave! No one forced you, and we are still fine without you! Move on! Stop acting obsessed!!!!!” he wrote.
The response comes after several former artistes, including Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi, publicly criticised Dapper over their past dealings with him. T.I Blaze also accused him of issues involving his music catalogue, an alleged ₦1.2 billion discrepancy, Virgin Music’s involvement and an expired contract.
