Verydarkman has criticised President Bola Tinubu over what he sees as the growing abuse of power in Nigeria, questioning the confidence with which FCT Minister Nyesom Wike speaks about his influence on state elections.
He believes the situation has reached a point where some people in government appear to have forgotten that political power ultimately belongs to the people, not those who hold public office.
In a post he said, he said:
“President Tinubu, imagine the kind of impunity you have enabled in Nigeria, all in the name of securing a second term. You have allowed power-intoxicated individuals like the FCT Minister to forget their place.
“How can Wike openly claim that he is controlling a state election? Does he actually understand the power of the people?
“The masses are bigger than all of you. Nobody knows the outcome of the 2027 election because you have pushed Nigerians to the wall. I blame those who refuse to unite, always playing the tribal and religious cards.”
