Israel DMW has dismissed claims that Davido is secretly working with the All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that the singer has remained firm in his position.
In a statement addressing the rumours, the singer’s personal logistics manager and close associate described the claims as false, saying they were made up to attract attention on social media.
He also stated that Davido had turned down several million dollars offered to him to endorse presidential candidates, adding that the singer remained committed to standing with Nigerians despite the challenges they face.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Israel wrote:
“Dearest Nigerians, kindly disregard the us£less rumours going around that Oga has been secretly or is currently working for APC.
“All are totally fabricated lies to gain social media traffic. His earlier stance still remains.
“Oga has rejected several millions of dollars to endorse any of the presidential candidates.
“He keeps saying he would be with Nigerians who are going through a lot and that he would never betray them at all. What else do Nigerians want again?”.
