Davido says a joint tour with Wizkid would be a big deal, and he is confident that fans would fill up venues wherever the two Afrobeats stars perform.
Davido is not entirely sure a collaboration between them would become a major hit, pointing to previous collaborations between Nigerian music stars as an example.
Speaking in an interview, he said:
“If Wizkid and I do a song together, I don’t know if it will pop because when D’banj and 2Baba did a record together, it didn’t really pop.
“If we tour together, I’ll ask for $500,000 per show because I know every venue will sell out.”
