For a 46-year-old woman, getting on a plane for the first time was an experience she never imagined she would have. As the aircraft took off and she found herself high above the ground, the beauty of the sky left her overwhelmed with emotion.
Looking out of the window, she began thanking God, struggling to put into words how much the moment meant to her.
After spending so much of her life unable to travel this way, finally being in the air was something she could hardly believe.
With tears in her eyes, she said:
“Jesus, thank you. I never dreamt I would be like this one day. I don’t know how to appreciate your love. Thank you.
“I’m in the air, in the sky, flying, not in a dream. Oh Jesus, thank you. I was really stuck in my place, Lord. Thank you for everything.
“I wonder what heaven would look like if the sky is this beautiful. So beautiful.”
The experience was made possible by her childhood friend, who booked the flight so she could experience air travel for the very first time. A thoughtful gesture that gave her a moment she never thought she would experience.
