BBNaija star Sheggz has recounted an encounter with a vulcanizer that showed just how difficult things have become for many Nigerians.
He explained that he recently went to pump his tyre and decided to pay the vulcanizer ₦20,000 instead of the usual ₦2,000. The man was so overwhelmed by the gesture that he burst into tears.
Sheggz said the reaction touched him, especially considering that the vulcanizer was a grown man old enough to be his father.
Speaking on a live video, he said:
“I pumped my tire recently and transferred ₦20K to the vulcanizer instead of ₦2K, and he burst into tears. A grown man that can give birth to me. The country is really hard.”
