Nigeria’s elder statesman and respected lawyer, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite is dead. He died this morning at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos after a brief illness.
Braithwaite was 82.
In 1979, Braithwaite founded the National Advance Party for the Second Republic politics , with the aim of wiping out the cockroaches and mosquitoes in Nigeria’s politics.
