The victim who hails from Effium community in Ohaukwu Local
Government Area of Ebonyi State, was said to have bled profusely after the act
and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Anyigor, a native of Benue State but resides in the
neighbouring Effium Community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state
where he committed the crime, reportedly invaded the house of the victim at
about 1:30 am on March 1, and raped him through the anus.
