A retired radiologist and the eldest child of late
Ologbosere of Warri Kingdom, Chief O. N. Rewane, Dr. Irene Damola (nee Rewane) has
died. The 75-year old woman was burnt to death in an early morning fire at her
residence, 5, Tola Adewunmi Street, Maryland which started from her bedroom.

She was home alone with a young lady who was her domestic
staff. The fire was later put out, but the retired radiologist had already
being consumed by it.
