This is indeed sad. After fighting
a prolonged sickness, former Director General of NAFDAC and ex minister of
Information, Professor Dora Akunyili has passed away. Akunyili who returned
from India after a long stay in an Indian hospital to part take at the on-going
national conference was quoted to have said, she was now okay and all will be
well. Sadly, the undisclosed sickness has taken her away. She was 59.
