Kwara APC chairman, Hon. Ishola Balogun, and Chief Bode Adekanye, the party’s secretary who were kidnapped at gun point along Lokoja Okene road in Kogi state, on their way back from Abuja after attending Saraki’s trial have been released.
The State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, confirmed this in a tweet. He wrote;
‘’I have just been informed that the Kwara APC Chairman and the scribe have been released unharmed by their captors. While I rejoice with their families, friends and party members, I hold that we must work harder to end the spate of kidnapping’.’
