Former Minister of Power and governorship hopeful in Oyo State, Adebayo Adelabu, has stirred public discussion after he was seen actively directing traffic in Ibadan
Adelabu, who recently resigned from the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu to focus on his political ambition in Oyo State, made the move just days after stepping down from office.

His resignation came after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on April 21, where he reportedly gave a detailed briefing on his tenure as Minister of Power.
According to his Special Adviser on Strategic Communication and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, the meeting included presentations on key reforms in the power sector, including the National Integrated Electricity Policy and its Strategic Implementation Plan.
Since his exit from office, Adelabu’s public appearance managing traffic in Ibadan has generated mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating his time in government and his new political direction.
