Renowned Kano-based business tycoon and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has d!ed at the age of 94
The elder statesman passed away in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja.
His Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Junaid, confirmed the news in a post on his Facebook page.
“With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of our beloved father, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings,” Junaid wrote.
He added that funeral arrangements (Janazah) would be announced in due course.
