President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday welcomed the President of Gabon, Brice Oligui Nguema, to the Presidential Villa in Abuja
The visit was confirmed in a brief statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receives Gabonese President, Brice Oligui Nguema, at the Presidential Villa Abuja on Friday, 27/06/2025,” the statement read.
As of the time of this report, details of the discussions between both leaders have not been made public.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, President Tinubu also hosted Queen Mary Elizabeth of Denmark at the State House in Abuja. During that visit, he called for enhanced bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Denmark in areas such as livestock development, veterinary health, and education.
That visit marked Queen Mary’s first to Nigeria and was co-hosted by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
