VeryDarkMan (VDM), has shared a shocking update about influencer Ashmusy reaching out to him for help — despite their bitter history
In a lengthy video, VDM revealed that Ashmusy recently slid into his DM, asking him to help her recover N33 million allegedly held by a man named Obinna Martins for over a year.
According to her message, the man has refused to return the money and continues to flaunt his lifestyle on social media while she suffers the consequences of being scammed by multiple people last year.
“She said, ‘VDM how are you? I need your help with a case,’” VDM recounted. “She claimed someone scammed her and has held her N33 million for more than a year. She said she’s been confused, and it’s affected her life in many ways.”
What made the situation more ironic, according to VDM, is that Ashmusy had previously insulted him publicly—calling him a “pig” during an earlier clash involving a different man who had paid her for an advert she allegedly didn’t deliver.
Back then, VDM said Ashmusy mocked him when he tried to call her out, saying:
“Oh VeryDark pig, please shut up. You’ve been seeking my attention for months. Disrespectful pig.”
Now, after months of silence, she followed VDM on social media, and he said he immediately knew something was off. She eventually apologized in his DMs, writing:
“I apologize for calling you a pig. Please, I would love us to have a conversation when you have a minute.”
Despite the apology, VDM suspects she was only trying to soften him up before asking for help.
“This same person that insulted me is now begging me to help her collect N33 million? Wow. Life really comes full circle,” he said.
Still, VDM said he wouldn’t let past insults stop him from doing the right thing.
“I don’t repay evil with evil. If she sends proper evidence—transaction details, dates, and reasons—I’ll write a petition and involve the right people. If it’s within my power, I’ll help,” he said.
He added a lesson to his followers:
“This situation has taught me to never stop helping people, no matter how much insult I get. Because if I had quit back then, this platform wouldn’t even be here today.”
VDM concluded with a warning: “Be careful how you treat people. You don’t know who you’ll need tomorrow.”
