Influencer Simisanya has advised singles to stop focusing only on romance during the talking stage and instead have honest conversations about important compatibility issues before starting a relationship.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Talk Your Talk podcast, she said people should ask practical questions that could help them avoid heartbreak or disappointment later, especially if the relationship is heading towards marriage.
“You get some things people can take. People should ask, ‘Are you AS or SS? Are you AA?’ So that if we actually date and later decide we want to marry, we won’t start running around when we discover we’re not compatible. Those are talking-stage questions”, she said.
She added that compatibility goes beyond genotype, saying people should also ask about lifestyle, habits and character.
“Ask, ‘do you like fresh food?’ because I don’t know how to cook, so we might not be compatible. Do you always go and fight on Twitter? Do you b£at girls? Are you a banga boy? are you always on Instagram commenting and fighting? Are you a troll?”, she stated.
She also encouraged people to pay attention to how a potential partner treats others and handles everyday situations.
“Do you normally insult girls that ask questions like, ‘What do you bring to the table?’ Are you stingy? Are you generous? Those are very important questions”, She said.
