“Ask before you make content in my house” – Emeka Nwagbaraocha

Actor Emeka Nwagbaraocha has urged visitors to respect people’s privacy and seek permission before creating content in their homes.

Nwagbaraocha, in a pointed message, urged people to seek permission before recording personal content in someone else’s home, stressing that a private residence should not automatically be treated as a production space.

“I really hate when I invite people over to my house and they start recording personal content there. It’s not cool at all,” the actor said.

He further appealed to content creators to be more considerate when visiting other people’s homes, particularly when their hosts also create content from those spaces.

“Please, when you visit people’s houses, ask them if it’s okay to make content there. Especially if they also create content there. Their house isn’t a studio,” he added.

For him, an invitation into someone’s home should come with respect for the space and that includes asking before pressing the record button.
