According to Premium Times, the singer was buried on Wednesday at her residence following funeral activities attended by her children, relatives, colleagues and admirers.
Among those who joined the family to mourn the late musician was veteran Juju singer Gentleman Dele Taiwo, alongside other members of the traditional music community.
Videos from the burial ceremony showed emotional scenes as Saint Janet’s children and other mourners gathered around her remains before she was committed to the earth.
The burial followed a series of funeral activities that began on Tuesday with a candlelight service, Christian wake and Artists’ Night at the AIT/Faaji FM compound in Kola Alagbado, Lagos.
The family had earlier announced that the singer would be buried at her residence in Abeokuta.
