Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday visited former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai at his Abuja residence to commiserate with him over the de.ath of his mother
El-Rufai’s mother reportedly d!ed on Friday afternoon after struggling with age-related health complications that had worsened in recent times.
Reports indicate that the former governor regained his freedom from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission shortly after news of her passing emerged.
Before Atiku’s visit, several prominent political figures had already paid condolence visits to El-Rufai, including former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi and former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, alongside other notable opposition figures.
