Actress, Bambam, has broken down in tears over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity, particularly following the kidnapping of students and teachers in Oyo State
In a video shared on her IG page, the actress appeared tearful as she questioned the state of the nation and what she described as repeated cycles of tragedy, including kidnappings, deaths, illness and rising fear across communities.
Bambam lamented the growing insecurity and the impact it is having on families, noting that the recent Oyo school attack had left her devastated and questioning the level of urgency from authorities.
“What’s the SOLUTION?!!! What’s the solution, people? We’ve cried. We’ve made flyers. We’ve wailed. We’ve prayed. Yet the pain keeps coming,” she said.
“Kidnappings. Loss. Cancer. Grief. Fear. It feels like we’re all just trying to survive one tragedy after another,” she added, while also urging Nigerians to check on loved ones and show more care and compassion.
She also expressed concern over the broader state of healthcare and safety in the country, stressing the need for better security systems, improved medical access, and stronger leadership to protect citizens.
“And honestly… where is the government in all of this? How many more people need to go missing? How many more families need to mourn before safety, healthcare, and human lives are treated like a priority?” she asked.
