Fresh video from Ejiba in Yagba West, Kogi State, has revealed the chaotic scene left behind after armed men stormed a Cherubim and Seraphim church on Sunday, November 30, 2025
The short clip, recorded moments after the incident, shows scattered footwear, open Bibles, and overturned items—evidence of how abruptly worshippers fled when the attackers struck.

Earlier reports confirmed that the assailants whisked away the church’s pastor, known widely as Orlando, alongside his wife and several members whose exact number is still unclear. The attack has thrown the quiet community into panic, deepening fears about the worsening insecurity spreading across parts of Kogi.
In the video, the person filming moves through the deserted building, explaining that he had hidden during the assault. His account captured the desperation in the community: “I hid myself; this is the church where they abducted people. You are seeing where they kidnapped people at Ejiba. Please, save us. Baba Orlando, who is the head of this church, was abducted. You can see the inside. They didn’t bother to put off the speaker or anything.”
The Ejiba incident adds to a disturbing pattern of attacks targeting religious centres and rural communities in the North-Central region. Just days earlier, on November 18, 2025, armed men invaded Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Isegun, in the Eruku area of Kwara State while a service was ongoing.
