Barcelona has secured the services of Polish international goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny on a one-year contract, subject to a medical examination

Szczęsny, 34, had announced his retirement less than a month ago but has come out of retirement to fill the void left by Marc-André ter Stegen’s injury.
Ter Stegen suffered a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee during Barcelona’s La Liga match against Villarreal and underwent successful surgery.
However, he’s expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal, stating Szczęsny will likely become Barcelona’s starting goalkeeper, with Iñaki Peña as backup.
