Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Ka3na Jones, has reflected on being a single mum and young widow

Reflecting on her journey, she wrote;

“I don’t believe I can even get used to being a single parent.
This shit is hard.

They say it gets easier with time. Lies!
They only grow—the anxiety, the grief, the responsibility, the sacrifices!

TRUST ME

Nobody ever tells you, “Hey Katie, this amazing man you’re about to marry only has five more years to live, make every second count.” Or, “Don’t rush into having kids… he’s going to die and leave you a widow and a single mother in your prime”.

Would I have done anything differently if I knew? Honestly, no. Because I can’t imagine my world right now without my baby girl. I Miss Mr. Jones every passing day

But am I angry sometimes? Tired? Worn out? Yes.
Do I wish someone would just look at me and say, “Katie, take a break… I got this?
Absolutely!!!
