Former Big Brother Naija housemate Mike Edwards and his wife, Perri Shakes-Drayton, are expecting their second child
The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, where Perri posted a glowing photo of her baby bump along with an emotional caption revealing their journey to this moment.
She also opened up about the challenges they faced trying to expand their family, including suffering an ectopic pregnancy.
She captioned: “We’ve been keeping a secret as our family is extending… YES WE ARE PREGNANT!! Having @matthewoedwards almost 5 years ago and through lockdown was a very different experience with appointments and the social aspect. Of course we’ve tried again between that time and I unfortunately experienced an ectopic pregnancy. We feel very blessed to be able to experience this journey again and grow our little family.

Mike and Perri, who got married in 2019, welcomed their first child, Matthew, in 2020. Their journey as a couple and parents has endeared them to many fans, who have flooded their comments with congratulatory messages.
