Nigerian social media personality Bobrisky has reacted after a netizen allegedly insulted him under a comment section on actress Mercy Aigbe’s Instagram post, following a past unread message sent to him years earlier.
The drama reportedly began when Bobrisky commented on Mercy Aigbe’s post, referring to her as:
“My hot sister ”
However, a user identified as molecule256 allegedly responded under the comment with an insult directed at him.
“@bobrisky222; gbenue oshi soun… She no dey mingle with people like you.”
Following the exchange, Bobrisky brought up an old message the same user had sent in 2022, where the man reportedly expressed admiration for him and requested a meeting, stating that he also lived in Lekki.
Bobrisky, however, did not open or respond to the message at the time.
After the recent public insult, Bobrisky highlighted the old DM, suggesting a possible link between the ignored message and the later online outburst.
Reacting to the situation, Bobrisky expressed frustration over what he described as unnecessary hostility from people who previously showed friendly interest but later turned to public insults.
He wrote:
“This is why I don’t open my Instagram DMs.Is it that people get angry when you don’t reply to their messages, or what?
Because some of you really need to check yourselves. In Yaba, they treat mad people better than this. I left a comment on my sister’s page, not on yours. Yet you had the audacity to come under my comment on her page and insult me for no reason at all.”
