The mysterious d8ath of Comfort Jimtop Oliver, a 100-level student of Taraba State University (TSU), has taken a disturbing twist after her suspected boyfriend, Emmanuel Kefas, was also found d8ad
Emmanuel, a 2024 Human Kinetics graduate of TSU, was discovered lifeless in the Tudiri community, a few meters from Jalingo, the state capital. Locals suspect he may have taken his own life after Comfort’s d8ath in his house.
Both were residents of the Bakasi area of Jalingo, living about 200 meters apart near Dr. Rapha Memorial Guest Inn, by the Vice-Chancellor’s Gate. Comfort, who hailed from Takum Local Government Area and belonged to the Kuteb ethnic group, was said to have been in a relationship with Emmanuel since his student days.
Police sources disclosed that empty bottles of hard drinks were found beside the bed where Comfort d!ed.
The Taraba State Police Command has opened an investigation into the case.
