The pupils and teachers k!dnapped in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State have been released by their captors
The development was confirmed on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Announcing the news on his verified X account, Onanuga wrote, “Finally, the k!dnapped pupils and teachers in Orire, Oyo have been freed by their abductors.”
Details surrounding their release, including whether a ransom was paid or the circumstances that led to their freedom, were not immediately disclosed.
