President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed newly resigned APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)

The announcement was made by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, as part of a broader reshuffling that saw 42 individuals appointed to lead various boards of key federal agencies, including those in immigration, civil defence, and aviation.
Ganduje’s appointment has stirred mixed reactions.
Critics have raised concerns over past corruption allegations against Ganduje, particularly the widely circulated 2018 video allegedly showing him receiving bribes in foreign currency.
