Enyimba forward Brown Ideye has called out the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side over unpaid match bonuses from the just-concluded season
Taking to X, the former Super Eagles striker accused the Aba-based club of owing him and other players bonuses despite the season ending in May.
“Because I get money, I should not ask for the one I worked for? Please pay me and the players last season’s match bonuses. @EnyimbaFC, the season ended in May, till now nothing. Next season will start next month,” Ideye posted.
The veteran attacker also alleged that during the 2024/2025 campaign, Enyimba paid players just N7,000 daily for meals—an issue the club has yet to publicly address.
