One of the daughters of ex-president Muhammadu Buhari, Hanan Buhari has taken to social media to mourn him
The mother of two paid an emotional tribute to the ex-leader on her Instagram page, Wednesday morning, July 16, saying the pain of losing him is immense.
She also thanked Allah for the grace of being able to give him a goodbye kiss.
Sharing a photo of her holding his hand in his final moment, Hanan wrote:
“The pain of your absence is immense, but I am finding strength in the love you gave me. You are the reason I know what unconditional love feels like.. I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to give you the goodbye kiss.
“I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.”
The ex-President passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 in a London hospital. He was aged 82.
