Afrobeat star Burna Boy has denied claims made by controversial Snapchat user “Milkshake,” who alleged that her former friend, Jessie Awazie, had affairs with several celebrities—including Davido and Burna Boy himself

In a post on his Instagram Story, Burna Boy firmly denied knowing Jessie Awazie and warned that he might take legal action.
“I have NO idea who that person is! They just throw my name in there to make their gist spicy. But when I take action, everyone will start crying and begging. No wahala,” he wrote.
The drama began after Milkshake accused Jessie Awazie of owing her ₦3.5 million and betraying her trust despite previously funding her lifestyle—including paying for her trips. Following the money dispute, Milkshake went on to make shocking claims about Jessie’s alleged sexual relationships with Davido and Burna Boy, suggesting the men had even paid hush money to keep the affairs under wraps.
She also posted supposed details of expensive gifts like a Birkin bag and warned certain celebrities to “get tested,” insinuating health risks linked to Jessie’s lifestyle.
While Davido has remained silent amid the growing controversy, Burna Boy is the first celebrity named in the scandal to publicly react—clearly distancing himself from the accusations and issuing a stern warning to those spreading false information.
The scandal continues to trend online, with social media users divided over the authenticity of Milkshake’s claims and the motivations behind her exposé.
